Lipid is one of the three major nutrients of human beings and plays an important role in human nutrition and health. The structure and composition of lipids are closely related to their biological functions and nutritional quality. Lipid has been becoming a hotspot for health and nutrition research all over the world. The International Symposium on Lipid Science and Health (ISLSH), which was organized annually by Oil Crops Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (OCRI-CAAS) since 2016, has gained a strong reputation and attracted hundreds of delegates from around the world for discussion of lipid research trends and advances every year. In order to further promote the rapid development of lipid science and health research and enhance academic communications, the 7th International Symposium on Lipid Science and Health & Matchmaking Conference of Future Food Industry Achievements • 2023 will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province from November 10 to November 12,2023 by Oil Crops Research Institute Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Jiangnan University. The organizing committee will invite well-known experts specialized in lipid science all over the world to share the up-to-date achievements and prospects that cover the topics regarding lipid resources and evaluation, lipid analysis and characterization, lipid synthesis and regulation, lipid preparation and utilization, lipid flavor and perception, lipid nutrition and health. We sincerely invite all experts and scholars to attend the conference.

On-site registration is available. The registration fees will be spent on the conference arrangements, including materials, venue, reception and meals.

Student registration is available for those studying full time and who hold a current Student Identification Card.

Accommodation and travel expenses are additional to the registration fees.

Ⅵ. Contribution

1. Call for abstracts

You are invited to submit an abstract to be reviewed for inclusion in the symposium program as either an oral or a poster presentation. Abstract submitted should describe work that has not been published or presented at another national or international meeting and should be limited to 300-500 words. The deadline for abstract submission is November 5th, 2023. The Return Receipt and Abstract Submission Format are attached below. Abstracts and return receipt should be sent to the mailbox: lipidscience@163.com.

Ⅶ. Young Scholars Forum

(1) Young Scholars Forum Award

In order to encourage young talents to exchange views, share experiences and collide ideas, the organizing committee will select the reporters of the Young Scholars Forum, select a total of three Youth Forum awards, and issue excellent paper certificates and awards to the award-winning authors.

(2) Outstanding Poster Awards

As a main part of the symposium, poster presentation is also one of the most crucial forms of academic exchange. Posters should be made standardly and research results should be presented with visual graphs and tables, which are matched with succinct explanation. Research innovative points should be embodied in the content. Attentions need to be paid on are as follows:

(1) Language: English;

(2) Poster size will be limited in height×width: 110cm×80cm;

(3) Innovativeness, methods and results of the research should be highlighted in the poster.

The Organizing committee will organize experts to evaluate the wall poster, select a total of 6 excellent wall poster awards, and award excellent paper certificates and awards to the winning authors. Please fill in the title of the wall poster in the meeting receipt.

Hotel to Venue: There will be regular bus pick-up.

1. Nanjing Lukou International Airport to Jinling Jialong Hotel

(1). Self-driving or Take a taxi

Ningxuan Expressway - Qinhuai Road, the whole journey is about 27 kilometers, is expected to travel 28 minutes, taxi fare is estimated at 70 yuan.

(2). Public transportation

At Lukou Airport Subway Station, take Line S1 (Airport Line), get off at Airport New Town Jiangning Station, transfer to Line S7 (Ningli Line), get off at Wuxiang Mountain Subway Station, exit 2 from subway station, walk 9 minutes to Jinling Jialong Hotel. The journey will take one hour.

2. Lishui Station (high-speed railway station) to Jinling Jialong Hotel

(1). Self-driving or Take a taxi

Through the first road - Zhongshan East Road - Qinhuai Avenue, the whole journey is about 11 kilometers, is expected to travel 18 minutes, taxi cost is estimated at 30 yuan.

(2). Public transportation

At Lishui Station, take Lishui You No. 2 bus to Lishui Bus Station, walk about 300 meters to subway exit 2, take Line S7 (Ningli Line), get off at Wuxiangshan Subway Station, exit 2 from subway station, walk 9 minutes to Jinling Jialong Hotel.

3. Nanjing South Railway Station (high-speed railway station) to Jinling Jialong Hotel

(1). Self-driving or Take a taxi

Ningxuan Expressway - Qinhuai Avenue drive, the whole journey is about 56 kilometers, is expected to travel 46 minutes, taxi cost is estimated at 140 yuan.

(2). Public transportation

At Nanjing South Railway Station, take Line S1 (Airport Line), get off at Airport New City Jiangning Station, transfer to Line S7 (Ningli Line), get off at Wushanshan Subway Station, exit 2 from subway station, walk 9 minutes to Jinling Jialong Hotel.
